While many boxed sets consist of previously published stories, HEARTS AFLAME consists of four brand new, never-before-published stories. Jill Hughey, Catherine Kean, Anna Markland and I worked for two years developing the concept around a common theme. This collaboration follows the Rowan family from the siege of Paris by Vikings, through medieval Scotland and England, to early 20th century colonial Kenya and centers on a palindrome etched into an ancient red disk that changes the course of their lives.
