Welcome to that crazy thing called love

I write about love, that crazy thing that sometimes makes us act like jerks when we’re trying so hard to be cool. For everyone who has ever loved, or loved and lost, or been a fool for love, or done things in the name of love, whether it’s puppy love or love so profound it defies all logic, love aboard a pirate ship or on the Grand Prix racing circuit, if you yearn for happily ever after, I invite you to enter my books...
Where love is always an adventure

What Readers Are Saying

SEA MISTRESS
“What a great read. Grabbed me from the first page. Don't miss this one if you are a fan of historical fiction.”

“This is the best historical romance I've read in a long time. It's what historical romance should be: richly-detailed worlds (from plantations to the high seas) come alive through a great love story with a strong, fiery heroine and a hero that, quite simply, I loved, then loved to hate, then loved again. No throw-away characters here: thanks to intriguing subplots, the secondary characters remain delightfully colorful. Although it was a real page turner, I was still very sorry to turn that last page and bid farewell to the characters and their story.”

“What a wonderful story to enjoy, From start to finish you are living in history. The story takes you from the shores of America across the high seas. A wonderful addition to the booklist of Nancy Morse. From her first "Silver Lady" to "Sea Mistress", her books have always been memorable.”

"This was the first book by Nancy Morse that I read and I loved it! The story was a page-turner. I felt that the author could have ended the story in a couple of places and it still would have been very satisfying -- but she didn't, and it grew more complex and rich as it went on. As an historical novel, the story is framed within the context of the events of the day but without long tedious passages (sometimes used by others) that distract from the story or that the reader chooses to skip. The narrative was rich in details that reflected the author's historical research. I don't know how Nancy Morse can top Sea Mistress..."

"...Morse writes beautifully and is clearly a good storyteller. Her story reflects deep research on the War of 1812 and New Orleans and I really liked that. For all those things, she gets full marks. And the SEA MISTRESS has all the elements I like: strong alpha male hero, interesting history, high seas adventure and a winning plot.”

WHERE THE WILD WIND BLOWS
"Some yummy love scenes scattered about a well written historical backdrop. That's the best way I can describe this book. I loved it. I wanted to trade places with Katie and let that warrior take me away. Will read more by this author."

“It keeps your interest through the whole story Very well written and the book holds a lot of history of the Indians.”

“What a wonderful romance story. Two people trying to find where they belong in the world. What people and events will suffer for the two of them to find it and end in the love they both want and need in order to survive. AWESOME READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

"I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an action packed romance.”

FIREHAWK
“FIREHAWK begins with war. Nancy Morse offers the year 1757 when the inhabitants of colonies in New England had to fight France and England…Her tale envelopes travel though the foliage of the past in Central New York…I learned early in the book that Morse's writing style would continuously sustain my curiosity. Strong expressive writing style kept me caught up in the story line…”
