I've been hearing from some of my author friends that Amazon has been deleting the reviews from their books' pages. So, being the paranoid creature that I am, I thought it best to copy and past just a few of my books' reviews and place them here...just in case. If you want to read all the reviews, go to each book's page on Amazon. So, in no particular order...
WHERE THE WILD WIND BLOWS
“What a wonderful romance story. Two people trying to find where they belong in the world. What people and events will suffer for the two of them to find it and end in the love they both want and need in order to survive. AWESOME READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“This was by far the best book that I have read in the line of American Indian reading. I truly enjoyed it.”
“I loved this book...Its story line kept you wanting to read more...it had areas where the author spoke as though she was back in that time with the people themselves.....I would read it again.....A great historical romance novel!!!”
“It was a page turner, with a captivating writing style. It had a carefully designed, breathtaking plot and narrative. Loveable!”
“Loved this story - all the emotions you go through with Katie. Would recommend this if you like historical American Indian love stories. I thoroughly enjoy them and this is one I would read again and again!!! Happy Reading!!”
“One of the finest books I have had the pleasure to read. Tears of heartache and tears of pure joy, very well written. I felt I was I the story with them. I have never read a book that literally made my muscles tense during the rough scenes to where I had to focus on relaxing them, was amazing, no book has ever affected me this way. I loved it.”
WINTER WIND
“If you haven't read 'Where the Wild Wind Blows', Nancy Morse's standout romance set in the Great Plains, then read it now! You'll follow Katie and Black Moon's struggle to find love and a place to belong. Now, Morse revisits these two compelling characters in her new novella, 'Winter Wind'. Be there as Katie and Black Moon face new challenges, against the backdrop of history and human tragedy, in a can't-put-it-down, touching story.”
“Great finish to Where The Wild Wind Blows. Loved the characters, the storyline and Nancy Morse's very descriptive writing. Had to read this as the finish to the WTWWB book, kept my interest, picked up where the story in the original book stopped. Morse's story carries you back on time and her writing places you in the lodges and lives of the characters. Loved it.”
RESTLESS WIND
“I really enjoyed this series, wished there was another book coming.”
“Glad to see Morse continuing the story of Katie and Black Moon. In Restless Wind, their complex and passionate relationship is once again set against a dramatic backdrop of place and historical events, some heartbreaking. I also enjoyed some of the new characters, as well as re-visiting and learning more about some we've met before. I must say that I would enjoy a future fourth novel about this family.”
A THOUSAND WINDS THAT BLOW
"If you're wanting more of Katie and Black Moon's story, here it is (I was hoping)! Their great love story continues against the backdrop of history, magnificent landscape, and the passage of time. I really enjoyed this book series and these characters, and this installment will not disappoint."
"Read all 3 of Nancy Morse wild wind series loved them all they get better with each book ,so love native american romance and this story was told very well and true, looking forward to read next in series glad they are still coming."
"I have read all 4 of this series and anxiously awaiting for the next one."
BENEATH AN IRON SKY
“I really liked this sweet romance between the characters and all of the history of that time period that the author excels at. I am never disappointed with this author, she writes a solid story line and a good love story, I enjoyed the focus of the plot being about when Native Americans were forced onto reservations, made to go to white schools and were forced to try to be white. The suffrage part of the story was very interesting too, I liked that the two issues were intertwined in a way. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good historical native american romance book.”
“One of the best native american historical romance books I've read in a while. This writer knows her stuff and I hope she continues with these types of stories.”
“Once more Nancy Morse gave us a masterpiece!”
“I really enjoyed this beautiful book.”
“Sweet beginnings. Wild and troubling middle. Beautiful and satisfying ending. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Native American, historical romances and little bit of steam in the mix.”
BELOVED BETRAYER
"I love history and romance together and this had both! The hero was one that at times you wanted to love and then hate and love again because of his actions during certain situations. The heroine was a strong female who believed that she was just as strong as a man and fought for her family, her home, and her love. At times it seemed that she was betraying her love in which it caused the conflict that comes with every great romance novel. I enjoyed following along and finally seeing how love over came every obstacle that was thrown at them! I would recommend this book and any other story from Nancy Morse and I look forward to any new releases in the future! "
FIREHAWK
“I love Native American stories and this one was didn't disappoint me. Right off the bat, it is obvious that a lot of research went into this book, but the facts don’t “hit you in the face”, rather they make the time period come alive with lush details and sensatory description that draw the reader in.
This is a definite read for those who love history, love Westerns and Native American love stories.”
“Excellent book !!!!!”
BLOOD RHAPSODY
“One of the best vampire romances I've read in the longest time. I absolutely loved the power struggle between Prudence and Nicolae. They had an interesting relationship. Attraction. Love. Hate. Complete abhorrence? You never knew what these two would feel next? The uncertainty and suspense in this story made it a must read for me. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.”
LOVE REMEMBERS
"...I live in South Africa & Nancy's colourful description of Africa resonates in my heart - HOME!! I experienced the heat, the sounds of the night, every moment with Jonathan & Julia. It's true . . .what Jonathan says: It's "MINE"!! - You can live anywhere in the world, but the essence of Africa saturates your DNA. - Thank you Nancy.”
"5 STARS. This is a story of lost love - she vanished without a trace. Our hero has never recovered from the loss. A woman looking for her long lost memory appears. Is it her? If so, will they both find what they lost long ago? It's an emotional read with some suspense and excitement along the journey that enhanced the story. It is a fabulous story that concludes the legacy of the beautiful heirloom brooch and resolves the question - Is the brooch a curse or a blessing? Read these great stories and find out!”
THE KINCAIDS - DALLAS
"...There's nothing more Western than "Dallas Kincaid." And the various Indian tribes lending that mystique certainly sets up a nice background for a romance novel.”
“The author made me care about these characters and want to keep reading their stories. The main character, Dallas -- a white child kidnapped by Indians, who later returns to his family and struggles to find his place in the world -- was compelling. I also enjoyed the parts of the story that were told from the perspective of Dallas' mother Kate. A good story and magnificent settings within the context of Native American history that this author specializes in.”
SEA MISTRESS
“This is the best historical romance I've read in a long time. It's what historical romance should be: richly-detailed worlds (from plantations to the high seas) come alive through a great love story with a strong, fiery heroine and a hero that, quite simply, I loved, then loved to hate, then loved again. No throw-away characters here: thanks to intriguing subplots, the secondary characters remain delightfully colorful. Although it was a real page turner, I was still very sorry to turn that last page and bid farewell to the characters and their story.”
“What a great read. Grabbed me from the first page. Don't miss this one if you are a fan of historical fiction. Can't wait to read some of the other books by the author, Nancy Morse.”
"...Morse writes beautifully and is clearly a good storyteller. Her story reflects deep research on the War of 1812 and New Orleans and I really liked that. For all those things, she gets full marks. And the SEA MISTRESS has all the elements I like: strong alpha male hero, interesting history, high seas adventure and a winning plot.”
RUN WILD, RUN FREE
“Run Wild, Run Free takes all the things I love, rolling it into one book. Horses, rodeos, cowboy, love. Even a little suspense. A story about love lost...and love found. The strength of a woman, the heart of a cowboy, and a strikingly beautiful horse, along with a story told by an award-winning author, makes for a perfect escape. Nancy Morse writes in a way you feel she has opened a door, making you feel you are living it, breathing in the beautiful mountain air, living through the characters. I highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading more by this very talented writer!”
THIS CHILD IS MINE
“This is the first book I have read by Nancy Morse and I can honestly say it won't be the last. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There was something about it that touched me. The characters felt real and the storyline believable. I look forward to discovering more books by Ms Morse.”
“I liked this story! The story depicts what is happening today. It is very relateable and gives the reader a peek into the adoption laws established after the 1970s. The author does a good job in evolving each character. Another strong heroine, but depicted in a sensitive manner. The story confirms that two people coming from completely different cultures can stand together and share the same passions for what they feel is right; finding true love along the way. Good job!”
THE LOVE THAT BINDS
“Exploring the bonds between dog and owner was very rewarding...enjoyed this book immensely...Love conquers all..learned about search and rescue dogs and would like to read more about it...Love your dog”
